Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Rasterbewertungssystem fest, dass es ermöglicht die Gebrauchstauglichkeit
von anodisch erzeugten Oxidschichten auf Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen zu bestimmen,
die Korrosionsprüfungen unterworfen wurden.
Das Bewertungssystem ist auf Lochkorrosion anwendbar, die auftritt nach
- Schnellkorrosionsversuchen;
- Bewitterung durch korrosive Umgebungen;
- praktischen Gebrauchsprüfungen.
Es wird nur die Lochkorrosion des Grundmetalls berücksichtigt, die aus der Durchdringung der anodisch erzeugten
Oxidschicht resultiert.
