Diese ÖNORM EN beschreibt Anforderungen an Dach- und Formsteine aus Beton. Sie enthält einen normativen Anhang (Probenentnahme) und drei informative Anhänge (Befestigung, Oberflächenbeschaffenheit, Brennbarkeit). Die Leistungsfähigkeit der Produkte ist so weit wie möglich durch Anforderungen, deren Erfüllung durch Prüfungen nachzuweisen ist, beschrieben. Dabei wird zwischen Typenprüfungen (Erstprüfungen) und regelmäßigen Qualitätskontrollprüfungen unterschieden. Anforderungen an Stoffe zur werksseitigen Oberflächenbehandlung sind nicht Gegenstand dieser ÖNORM EN.
