Behandelt sind die Bedingungen für die nach EN 288-1:1992 mögliche Anerkennung eines Schweißverfahrens aufgrund vorliegender Erfahrung. Viele Hersteller haben große Erfahrung in der Herstellung geschweißter Bauteile. Im Hinblick auf ihre nachweisbare vorliegende Erfahrung haben sie geschweißte Teile an viele Verbraucher und Kunden für unterschiedliche Anwendungen geliefert, dabei kann auch die Begutachtung durch beauftragte Stellen eingeschlossen sein. Zusätzlich können diese geschweißten Teile über einen entsprechenden Zeitraum die betrieblichen Aufgaben zufriedenstellend erfüllt haben. Folglich müssen solche Hersteller die Möglichkeit haben, geschweißte Teile unter Anwendung eines Schweißverfahrens zu liefern, das auf ihrer vorliegenden Erfahrung beruht und in Übereinstimmung mit dieser Norm anzuerkennen ist.
