Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an automatische Explosionslöschanlagen für Teilschnittmaschinen (TSM) in Streckenvortrieben fest, die vom Schneidkopf einer TSM gezündete Grubengasexplosionen in der Entstehungsphase automatisch erkennen und im Vorortbereich so ablöschen, dass die Vorortbelegschaft nicht gefährdet wird. Dieses Dokument legt keine Anforderungen für die Bekämpfung von Bränden im Vorortbereich fest. Die automatische Explosionslöschanlage für TSM ist ein autonomes Schutzsystem gemäß Richtlinie 94/9/EG.
