Sie gilt auch für Sitze von anderen, von ISO 5053:1987 nicht erfassten Flurförderzeugen, z. B. Stapler mit veränderbarer Reichweite, Niederhubkommissionierer. Diese ÖNORM enthält die Europäische Änderung A1:2008-04, mit der die Abschnitte 1.3, 2, 4.3, Tabelle 3, Bilder 2, 3, 4, 5, Anhang ZA, Anhang ZB und Literaturhinweise korrigiert wurden.
