Es sind Verfahren festgelegt, die zur einheitlichen Bestimmung und Messwerterfassung eines A-bewerteten Schalldruckpegels, eines Schallleistungsbandes sowie eines Berechnungsverfahres für gemittelte Schalldruckpegel bei einem gegebenem Abstand dienen. Die Festlegungen gelten für ventilatorbelüftete Kältemittelverflüssiger gemäß EN 327 sowie für luftgekühlte Flüssigkeitskühler (Trockenkühltürme) gemäß EN 1048. Neben den zu liefernden Herstellerangaben sind die verschiedenen Methoden für die Durchführung von Prüfungen und Messungen angeführt. Weiters sind schematische Darstellungen für die Anordnung der Messpunkte enthalten.
