Weiters wird eine Anleitung und Kennzeichnung zusammen mit zugehörigen Prüfverfahren und Prüfbrennstoffen für die Typprüfung von Kamineinsätzen bzw. offenen Kaminen für feste Brennstoffe gegeben. Diese ÖNORM gilt für handbeschickte Feuerstätten. Die Verkleidung dieser Feuerstätten ist mit dem Gebäude verbunden. Ausnahmen bilden freistehende Feuerstätten und Einsätze, die in eine Feuerstätten-Nische oder -Verkleidung eingestellt werden.
