Diese Norm legt ein flammenatomabsorptions-Spektrometrisches Verfahren (FAAS-Verfahren) für die Bestimmung von Magnesium in Zinklegierungen fest. Das Verfahren ist auf die in EN 1774 und EN 12844 festgelegten Produkte anwendbar. Es ist geeignet für die Bestimmung von Magnesiumgehalten (Massenanteilen) zwischen 0,002 % und 0,08 %.
