Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen an kontinuierlich feuerverzinkte und elektrolytisch veredelte Flacherzeugnisse aus Multiphasenstählen mit Überzügen aus Zink- (Z und ZE), Zink-Eisen- (ZF) und Zink-Nickel-Legierungen (ZN) in Dicken von 0,35 mm bis 3,0 mm fest, falls nicht anders vereinbart. Als Dicke gilt die Enddicke des gelieferten Erzeugnisses nach dem Veredeln. Diese Norm gilt für Band aller Breiten sowie für daraus abgelängte Bleche (Breite >= 600 mm) und Stäbe (Breite < 600 mm). Die Erzeugnisse nach dieser Norm eignen sich vorzugsweise für Anwendungen, bei denen das Umformverhalten und der Widerstand gegen Korrosion von vorrangiger Bedeutung sind. Der durch den Überzug bewirkte Korrosionsschutz ist der Auflagemasse proportional.
