Dieser Teil der EN 10253 legt die technischen Lieferbedingungen fest für nahtlose Formstücke zum Einschweißen (Rohrbogen, konzentrische und exzentrische Reduzierstücke, T-Stücke mit gleichem oder mit reduziertem Abzweig, Kappen) aus austenitischem und austenitisch-ferritischem nichtrostendem Stahl, die für druck- und korrosionsfeste Anwendungsfälle bei Raumtemperatur, Niedrigtemperatur oder bei erhöhter Temperatur vorgesehen sind. Diese Norm legt die Art der Formstücke (Typ A: Formstücke zum Einschweißen, verminderter Ausnutzungsgrad; Typ B: Formstücke zum Einschweißen, voller Ausnutzungsgrad), die Stahlsorten, die mechanischen Eigenschaften, die Maße und Grenzabmaße, die Anforderungen an die Prüfungen, die Prüfbescheinigungen, die Kennzeichnung sowie die Versandvorbereitung und Verpackung fest. Falls in diesem Teil der EN 10253 nichts anderes festgelegt ist, gelten die allgemeinen technischen Lieferbedingungen nach EN 10021.
