Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen an die nachstehend aufgeführten Produkte für den Transport von wäßrigen Flüssigkeiten einschließlich Trinkwasser fest: - nahtlose und geschweißte Rohre aus unlegiertem Stahl; - Rohrverbindungen im Hinblick auf die Rohrendenvorbereitung; - Fittings, die aus Rohrstücken gefertigt wurden; - Fittings, die aus für die Rohrherstellung bestimmtem Grobblech gefertigt wurden. Korrosionsschutzmaßnahmen sind in dieser Norm nicht festgelegt. Im allgemeinen gilt diese Norm für einen Außendurchmesserbereich von 33,7 mm bis 2540 mm. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Gewinderohre und Muffenverbindungen nach ISO 65.
