Diese Norm enthält die Anforderungen an Blech und Breitflachstahl aus legierten Edelstählen mit höherer Streckgrenze. Teil 1 enthält die allgemeinen Lieferbedingungen, Teil 2 die Lieferbedingungen für vergütete Stähle und Teil 3 die Lieferbedingungen für ausscheidungsgehärtete Stähle. Die in dieser Norm erfaßten Stähle sind vorwiegend für die Verwendung in hochbeanspruchten geschweißten Bauteilen, zB. Brücken, Schleusentoren, Lagerbehältern, Wassertanks u.a.m. bei Umgebungstemperaturen und niedrigen Temperaturen bestimmt. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Erzeugnisse aus Stählen für Druckbehälter, ferner nicht für Erzeugnisse, für die andere EURNORMEN oder Europäische Normen bestehen oder in Vorbereitung sind.
