Die Ausbildung als Tauchlehrer-Assistent gemäß dieser ÖNORM qualifiziert eine Person dazu, Freizeit-Gerätetaucher unter Aufsicht eines Tauchlehrers gemäß ÖNORM S 4262 auszubilden, bei der Abnahme von Prüfungen mitzuwirken und unter Eigenverantwortung Tauchgänge zu führen.
