Diese Vornorm legt ein HPLC-Verfahren für die Bestimmung von Neohesperidin-Dihydrochalcon (NHDC) in Lebensmitteln fest. Das Verfahren wurde in einem Ringversuch an Kirschjoghurt mit 42,7 mg/kg und an einem Multivitamingetränk mit 35,6 mg/l NHDC geprüft. Das Verfahren wurde außerdem erfolgreich für eine Reihe anderer Lebensmittel angewandt, wie Marzipan, Backwaren, Sahne, Puddingpulver und Schokolade.
