Diese Technische Spezifikation, Teil 13 der EN 13130, legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Bisphenol A in den Prüflebensmitteln Wasser, 3%ige Essigsäure (m/V) in wässriger Lösung, 15%iges Ethanol (Volumenanteil) in wässriger Lösung und rektifiziertes Olivenöl fest. Der ermittelte Gehalt an monomeremm Bisphenol A wird in Milligramm Bisphenol A je Kilogramm Prüflebensmittel angegeben. Das Verfahren eignet sich zur quantitativen Bestimmung von Bisphenol A bei einem Mindestgehalt von 0,2 mg je Kilogramm Prüflebensmittel bis 0,7 mg je Kilogramm Prüflebensmittel. Das Verfahren sollte auch auf andere wässrige Prüflebensmittel sowie auf die anderen fettigen Prüflebensmittel, Sonnenblumenöl und eine Mischung synthetischer Triglyceride anwendbar sein.
