This Austrian Standard describes two methods for the determination of the influence of ozone on cracking of elastomers under dynamic extension stress.
The dynamic test according to this ÖNORM resigns the assessment of all secondary weathering impacts; it uses constant ozone concentration, temperature and air humidity.
The test shall be carried out during dynamic cyclic stress of the elastomer in practical use.
