Ziel dieser VORNORM ÖNORM ist es, die Anforderungen an Miscanthushäcksel für die energetische Nut-zung zu definieren. Miscanthus ist ein sehr ertragreiches C4-Gras. Diese VORNORM ÖNORM gilt als nationale Ergänzung zu VORNORM ÖNORM CEN/TS 14961 sowie VORNORM ÖNORM CEN/TS 15234. Für den Einsatz von Miscanthushäcksel als Brennstoff sind in Anlehnung an ÖNORM EN 303-5 geprüfte Heizkessel einzusetzen. Die gesetzlichen Grenzwerte für Emissionen müssen eingehalten werden.
