This Austrian Standard shall be applied jointly with ÖNORM B 5330-1 and includes complementary requirements for door frames and sets made of timber or wood materials. Door frames are intended to be built into walls after completion of all masonry, painting, wallpaper and, where appropriate, soil installation works. It applies to frames of rebated or unrebated doors leaves with a mass of maximum 60 kg. Frames for double leaf or double fold doors are not covered by the scope of this Standard. Timber sets are only metioned insofar as they can be described unambiguously in case of repair and renovation works within tender specifications.
