This ÖNORM is applicable to industrially produced GRP piping systems that meet the basic requirements of ÖNORM EN 1796 and EN 14364. This ÖNORM cannot be used on GRP piping systems that do not comply with ÖNORM EN 14364 and EN 1796. Piping systems according to this ÖNORM are preferably used for the transport of liquids and can, depending on the class of pipe, with an internal pressure greater than 1 PN be used as pressure pipes or with PN 1 as a sewage pipes. These pipes can be either buried in the ground with or without concrete coating or used as gravity pipelines. This ÖNORM also is the basis for attestation of conformity of products which meet both the requirements of ÖNORM EN 1796 or ÖNORM EN 14364 as well as those of the present ÖNORM.
