This standard contains requirements and test methods for the wastewater behaviour of aqueous surface-active cleaning agents („tenside cleaners“) for cleaning of vehicles and motors as well as for commercial and industrial use in car repair stations, garages, gas stations and related subsidiary business (eg for the motor cleaning or also for the cleaning of oil-soiled floors, walls and ceilings). Not subject of this standard are: - detergents for special technical cleaning purposes (eg workpiece cleaning systems); in any case, they must be subjected to separate wastewater treatment; - hot waxes and other preservative agents for oil-free surfaces (eg cars); see ÖNORM B 5106.
