The present ÖNORM is applicable to the execution of proctor tests according to ÖNORM EN 13286-2 for earthworks purposes. The present ÖNORM defines - based on ÖNORM EN 13286-2 - methods for the derivation of the relation between water content and dry density of unbound and bound mixtures after proctor compaction under given test conditions. Proctor density provides a reference value for the achievable density of aggregates on site and a base value for the assessment of the density of a compacted layer.
