This Austrian Standard includes specifications for design, testing and marking of door lever handles, escutcheons and roses from quality controlled production for fire resisting closures and shutters according to ÖNORM B 3850, ÖNORM B 3851 and ÖNORM B 3852, in combination with door locks conforming to ÖNORM B 3858 and/or DIN 18250. Door fittings as specified in this Austrian Standard fulfil, even in case of fire, the conditions ensuring the function of fire doors.
