This Austrian Standard specifies glazings mounted throughout linearly on at least two opposite sides. According to their inclination to the vertical, the glazing are classified as follows:
- horizontal glazing: inclination > 15°,
- vertical glazing: inclination = 15°.
It does not apply to glazings:
- which protect against fall,
- intended for greenhouses according to ÖNORM EN 13031-1,
- which are regularly used for stiffening,
- for curved glass.
Repairs to which the requirements and conditions according to Section 4 and Section 5 cannot be applied are not part of the present ÖNORM.
