Diese ÖNORM regelt Verglasungen, die an mindestens zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten durchgehend linienförmig gelagert sind. Die Verglasungen werden nach ihren Neigungswinkel zur Vertikalen eingeteilt in: - Horizontalverglasung: Neigungswinkel > 15°, - Vertikalverglasung: Neigungswinkel <= 15°. Sie gilt nicht für Verglasungen, - die gegen Absturz sichern, - für Gewächshäuser nach ÖNORM EN 13031-1, - für geklebte Glaskonstruktionen nach EOTA - ETAG Nr. 002 Teil 1, - die planmäßig zur Aussteifung herangezogen werden, - für gebogene Verglasungen und - für Instandsetzungen.
