Gegenstand dieser ÖNORM sind Dachunterspannbahnen aus Kunststoff mit speziellen Eigenschaften hinsichtlich Reißfestigkeit, Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit und Brandverhalten und einen Mindestnennwert der flächenbezogenen Masse von 140 g/m2. Sie werden für die Dachunterspannungen gemäß ÖNORM B 2219 verwendet. Ihr Grundstoff ist ein Polymer (Thermoplast oder Elastomer), welches modifiziert und/oder armiert sein kann und das Eigenschaftsbild bestimmt. In dieser ÖNORM werden Anforderungen und Prüfungen festgelegt. Es ist eine Normkennzeichnung gemäß § 3 (2) Normengesetz 1971 vorgesehen.
