Die in dieser ÖNORM festgelegte Prüfung des Haftverhaltens zwischen dem Bindemittel von Straßenbauasphalt - Bitumen bzw. polymermodifiziertem Bitumen - und dem von ihm umhüllten Gestein liefert vergleichbare Werte für die Hafteigenschaft von Bindemitteln verschiedener Art, wenn diese an Dolomit EBK 8/11 geprüft werden, und von verschiedenen Gesteinsarten, wenn Bitumen B 100 als Bezugsbindemittel verwendet wird. Bei Prüfung eines Mischgutes aus einer beliebigen Bindemittelsorte mit einem beliebigen Gestein ist nur das Haftverhalten innerhalb dieses speziellen Mischgutes feststellbar.
