This ÖNORM regulates the planning and execution of laying of tiles, flags and mosaics indoors and out-doors, also in connection with the execution of heated surfaces indoors.
This ÖNORM does not include requirements for swimming pools, thermal baths, drinking water tanks and the like, as special requirements apply to these.
Waterproofing of buildings is regulated in ÖNORM B 3691 and ÖNORM B 3692.
The cleaning and maintenance of ceramic covering elements is regulated in ÖNORM D 2210.
