ÖNORM B 3358-4

This Austrian Standard shall be applied as supplement to Part 1 and applies to non-load bearing interior wall systems made of aerated concrete blocks according to ÖNORM EN 771-4 and ÖNORM B 3209 which are blocked up "fully pointed" with masonry mortar according to ÖNORM EN 998-2 by the thick bed or thin bed method or made of floor-to-ceiling aerated concrete elements installed vertically "man-to-man" with special grout. The surface of the walls can be produced, for aerated concrete blocks, with rendering or plastering mortar on lime, cement or gypsum basis, and for aerated concrete elements with body filler. Tables A.1, A.2 and A.3 of Annex A (informative) give required properties of non-load bearing wall systems from aerated concrete blocks and/or elements, including masonry and rendering and plastering mortar, as concerns protection against fire, thermal and sound insulation according to ÖNORM B 3358-1.
