Diese ÖNORM-Serie ist anzuwenden für Maßnahmen an bestehendem Mauerwerk, die der Verhinderung oder Begrenzung des kapillaren Aufsteigens von Feuchtigkeit dienen. Es werden ausschließlich Verfahrensgruppen berücksichtigt, deren Wirkungsweise wissenschaftlich allgemein anerkannt und deren praktische Tauglichkeit erwiesen ist. Geräte, die sich zB auf Magnetokinese, Radiowellen u. a. beziehen, werden in dieser ÖNORM nicht behandelt. Wandheizungssysteme werden in ÖNORM B 3355-3 behandelt. Diese ÖNORM-Serie richtet sich an alle mit der Planung, Ausschreibung, Ausführung und Überwachung von derartigen Maßnahmen befassten Personen. Die vorliegende ÖNORM ist nur im Zusammenhang mit den ÖNORMEN B 3355-1 und -3 anzuwenden. Für die Werkvertragsregelung ist die ÖNORM B 2202 anzuwenden.
