Diese ÖNORM ist für die Produktionskontrolle von werksmäßig hergestellten Fertigteilen aus Beton, Stahlbeton und Spannbeton gemäß ÖNORM B 4705 anzuwenden, wobei die Überprüfung der Ausführungspläne und der ihnen zugrunde liegenden statischen Berechnung nicht Aufgabe der Produktionskontrolle ist. Diese ÖNORM ist sinngemäß auch für werksmäßig hergestellte Fertigteile, z.B. Fettabscheider, die nicht in der ÖNORM B 4705 geregelt sind, anwendbar, jedoch nicht für Betonbauteile, deren Güteüberwachung und/oder Produktionskontrolle bereits in anderen ÖNORMEN geregelt ist. Die Produktionskontrolle besteht aus der werkseigenen Produktionskontrolle gemäß Abschnitt 5 und der Überwachung der werkseigenen Produktionskontrolle gemäß Abschnitt 7.
