Diese ÖNORM ist für die Prüfung der Frost-Tausalz-Beständigkeit (FTB) von vorgefertigten Betonerzeugnissen, auf deren Oberfläche Frost und Tausalz gleichzeitig einwirken können, sowie für die Beurteilung der Prüfergebnisse anzuwenden. Sie ist nur für jene vorgefertigten Betonerzeugnisse anzuwenden, bei denen die Frost-Tausalz-Beständigkeit nicht in der maßgebenden Produktnorm geregelt ist. Für die Prüfung und die Beurteilung der Prüfergebnisse ist ausreichende Erfahrung erforderlich. Daher sollten FTB-Prüfungen nach dieser ÖNORM nur von dafür akkreditierten Prüfstellen durchgeführt werden.
