Behandelt sind Anforderungen und Prüfungen für im Erzeugerwerk aufgebrachte Außen- und/oder Innenbeschichtungen von genormten Formstücken aus duktilem Gußeisen mit Pulverepoxy. Pulverepoxy ist ein pulverförmiges Elastomer, bestehend aus Harz und Härter, welches nach dem Aufbringen auf das Werkstück bei Verarbeitungstemperaturen zwischen 150 °C und 180 °C am Werkstück aufschmilzt und aushärtet. Pulverepoxy-beschichtete Formstücke sind geeignet für Dauerbetriebstemperaturen zwischen -30 °C und +75 °C und für den Einsatz bei Leitungen von Trinkwasser, Abwasser aller Aggressivitätsstufen und Brenngasen.
