This standard applies to the scope of ÖNORM EN 806-1 to ÖNORM EN 806-5, describes supplementary requirements for consumption systems and should therefore only be used in conjunction with these ÖNORM.
The document specifies requirements for consumption systems for drinking water and hot water (heated drinking water), in particular
- the pressure test with drinking water after an already performed pressure test with air or inert gases,
- the routing in structural waterproofing,
- the protection against the heating of cold water pipes,
- the protection against the heating of cold water by taps and fittings.
The hygienic requirements for operation and monitoring to achieve and maintain the water quality of drinking water heating systems are given in ÖNORM B 5019.
