This Austrian Standard is applicable to planning and structuring of quality, costs, deadlines as well as for the classification of documentation for construction activities during the phases of conception, planning and installation. The action area quality includes quality and quantity; costs cover costs and financing; deadlines involve dates and resources. Quality, costs and deadlines are discussed in this Austrian Standard. For the planning and structuring of processing of quantity, funding and resources relevant existing standards and guidelines shall apply. The planning and structuring system in this Austrian Standard and the explained classification systems focus primarily the field of building construction. To meet specific requirements of individual construction segments (eg. traffic infrastructure) additions and adjustments of the planning system and structure systems are allowed.
