The present ÖNORM shall only be applied jointly with ÖNORM B 1600; it describes measures exceeding the requirements of ÖNORM B 1600. This Standard applies particularly to the following special buildings (new constructions, rebuildings and annexes), for disabled or persons or the elderly: - Shared homes, residential homes, assisted living an the like, - Day-care centres, elderly homes, elderly and nursing homes and the like, - Health facilities such as hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, medical offices, therapy centres, - Workplaces, educational institutions, companies such as integrative enterprises, sheltered workshops, workplaces for disabled persons, special education facilities and the like.
