Diese ÖNORM enthält Regeln für die Gestaltung visueller Leitsysteme unter Verwendung leicht erfaßbarer, gut einprägsamer
und allgemein verständlicher visueller Signale.
ANMERKUNG:
Akustische Maßnahmen (zB im Bahnhofsbereich) und taktile Hinweise (für stark Sehbehinderte und Blinde) können
ein solches Leitsystem verstärkend ergänzen.
Diese Regeln sind immer dann anzuwenden, wenn in einem baulichen Objekt oder auf einem Gelände der Weg zu einem
bestimmten Ziel nicht eindeutig erkennbar ist. Sie gelten auch dann, wenn ein bestehendes Leitsystem geändert
werden muß.
Diese ÖNORM betrifft nicht den Geltungsbereich der Straßenverkehrsordnung. Bei Hinweisen auf Sicherheitseinrichtungen
sind die entsprechenden Rechtsvorschriften und ÖNORMEN zu berücksichtigen.
