Diese Norm ist für die Anwendung auf alle terrestrischen Flachplatten-Dünnschichtmodule auf der Grundlage von CdTe bestimmt. Sie behandelt die besonderen Anforderungen an Prüfungen dieser Technologie, welche die Anforderungen von IEC 61215-1 und IEC 61215-2 ergänzen.
