Diese Europäische Norm legt das Verfahren zur Klassifizierung des Brandverhaltens von Bedachungen/ Dachhäuten, die durch Feuer von außen entsprechend den vier Prüfverfahren nach CEN/TS 1187:2012 und den maßgebenden Regeln für den erweiterten Anwendungsbereich beansprucht wurden, fest. Zur Klassifizierung von Bedachungen/Dachhäuten brauchen nur diejenigen Prüfverfahren und diejenigen direkten und erweiterten Anwendungsregeln angewandt zu werden, für die eine entsprechende Klassifizierung angestrebt wird. Produkte werden in ihrer praktischen Anwendung betrachtet.
