Diese Europäische Norm ist eine Produktnorm, die Festlegungen der Leistungsanforderungen für zylindrische Stahlbauteile enthält, zur Verwendung in einschaligen Stahlschornsteinen und Innenrohren aus Stahl für freistehende Schornsteine, welche zur Ableitung von Verbrennungsprodukten von Feuerstätten an die Außenluft verwendet werden. Außerdem werden Anforderungen an die Wärmedämmung und Ummantelung, die Teil des einschaligen Schornsteins und Innenrohrs sind, festgelegt und sie dient der Beurteilung der Konformität der Schornsteine/Innenrohre aus Stahl mit den Festlegungen dieser EN.
