Das Dokument gilt für Anforderungen und Prüfungen von Dichtungen aus Gummi-Kork (A) und Gummi-Kork mit synthetischen Fasern (B) für Gasarmaturen und Gasgeräte, die mit Gasen nach dem DVGW-Arbeitsblatt G 260 in Berührung kommen, ausgenommen Flüssiggas in flüssiger Phase. Die höchste Betriebstemperatur beträgt für Gummi-Kork-Dichtungen 100 °C und für Dichtungen aus Gummi-Kork mit synthetischen Fasern 150 °C. Der zulässige Betriebsdruck ist für Gummi-Kork-Dichtungen auf 1 bar, für Dichtungen aus Gummi-Kork mit synthetischen Fasern auf 4 bar begrenzt.
