Dieses Dokument legt ein Schüttelverfahren zur Bestimmung der Eluierbarkeit von organischen und anorganischen Stoffen aus Feststoffen bei einem Wasser/Feststoff-Verhältnis von 2 l/kg Trockenmasse für eine Übereinstimmungsuntersuchung fest. Das Anwendungsspektrum dieser Norm unterliegt einer dynamischen Entwicklung und gilt nach vorliegendem Stand für die im Anhang validierten Parameter (Elemente/Verbindungen). Das Verfahren ist für leichtflüchtige oder biologisch sehr leicht abbaubare Stoffe (en: ready biodegradable, im Sinne des ChemG) nicht geeignet. Materialen mit einem Wassergehalt von über 65 % sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm.
