Diese Norm gilt für die Maße, Ausführung und Werkstoffe von Klemmverbindungen mit O-Ring zum Stumpfschweißen an Rohren mit Abmessungen nach DIN 11866. Die Klemmverbindungen sind nur bei Verwendung geeigneter Klammern für folgende zulässige Drücke ausgelegt: - Rohraußendurchmesser von 12,7 mm bis 41,0 mm: 4,0 MPa (40 bar); - Rohraußendurchmesser von 42,4 mm bis 70,0 mm: 2,5 MPa (25 bar); - Rohraußendurchmesser von 76,1 mm bis 104,0 mm: 1,6 MPa (16 bar). Diese Drücke in MPa (bar) können bei Verwendung geeigneter Dichtungswerkstoffe von -10 °C bis +140 °C angewandt werden.
