Diese Bestimmung legt Anforderungen für den Anschluß von Waschmaschinen, Geschirrspülern und Trommeltrocknern an die Wasserversorgungsanlage mit einem Wasserdruck von max. 1 MPa (10 bar) fest. Der Zweck dieser Anforderungen ist es, zu verhindern, daß Schmutzwasser in die Trinkwasserversorgung gelangt. Weiters soll eine Überschwemmung durch fehlerhaften Anschluß an die Wasserversorgung vermieden werden.
