This Austrian Standard shall be applied to mobile ladders equipped with wheels, rollers, etc. in order to change position, operated exclusively by human power. This ÖNORM is not applicable to ladders conducted on rails (ladders on casters, shelf ladders, aerial ladders), to automotive ladders or ladders mounted on locomotive vehicles as well as to fire ladders. The ladders are designed for a static vertical maximum load in operating position of 150 kg and shall not exceed a maximum platform size of 400 mm x 400 mm.
