Der Eurocode 5 behandelt ausschließlich Anforderungen an die Tragfähigkeit, die Gebrauchstauglichkeit und die Dauerhaftigkeit von Tragwerken. Andere Anforderungen, zB an den Wärme- oder Schallschutz, werden nicht behandelt.
