Dieser Teil von ISO 15792 bezieht sich auf die Einteilung von Elektroden und Drähten zum Lichtbogenschweißen von Kohlenstoff-Mangan-Stählen, niedriglegierten Stählen, nichtrostenden Stählen und Nickellegierungen, soweit sie in der Einteilungsnorm aufgeführt sind. Er beschreibt die Herstellung des Prüfstücks und die Bewertung der Prüfergebnisse im Hinblick auf die Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen an die Eignung zum Schweißen in verschiedenen Positionen und an die Wurzelerfassung nach der Einteilungsnorm für Elektrode oder Draht.
