Festgelegt werden Kriterien für die Einteilung von Draht-Pulver-Kombinationen und von reinem Schweißgut im Schweißzustand für das Unterpulverschweißen von unlegierten und mikrolegierten Stählen mit einer Mindeststreckgrenze bis zu 500 N/mm2. Ein Pulver kann mit verschiedenen Drahtelektroden verwendet werden. Drahtelektroden werden nach ihrer chemischen Zusammensetzung und Draht-Pulver-Kombinationen nach der Streckgrenze des Schweißgutes eingeteilt. Pulver, die für das Einlagen- und das Zweilagenschweißen geeignet sind, werden entsprechend bezeichnet.
