Es werden das Bezeichnungssystem, Werkstoffe , mechanische Eigenschaften, Mindestbruchkräfte und Prüfkräfte, Prüfverfahren und Kennzeichnung für folgende Muttern mit spezifizierten Prüfkräften bei Prüfung unter Raumtemperatur festgelegt: - mit Nenndurchmessern bis 30 mm (oder 100 mm), - mit ISO-Gewinde mit Durchmessern und Steigungen nach ISO 68 und ISO 262 (Regelgewinde), - mit Gewindetoleranz 6H nach ISO 965, - mit spezifizierten mechanischen Eigenschaften, - mit Schlüsselweiten nach ISO 272 oder ähnlichen Muttern - mit Nennhöhen gleich oder größer 0,5 D, - hergestellt aus unlegiertem oder legiertem Stahl.
