Der vorliegende Teil der Norm legt die Klassifizierung und Bezeichnung dichter geformter basischer feuerfester Erzeugnisse mit einem Masseanteil an Restkohlenstoff von 7 % bis 30 % fest. Diese Norm ist anwendbar für Erzeugnisse mit oder ohne Antioxidantien-Zusatz und mit oder ohne Blechummantelung und Bewehrung. Anmerkung 1: EN 12475-2 dient der Klassifizierung dichter geformter basischer Erzeugnisse mit einem Masseanteil an Restkohlenstoff von kleiner als 7 %. Anmerkung 2: Alle Steine können eine Blechummantelung und eine Innenblecharmierung aufweisen.
