Die Messung der Schichtdicken von Metallen auf metallischen oder nichtmetallischen Trägerwerkstoffen ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Qualitätskontrolle. Es werden die gängigen Meßverfahren beschrieben. Die dabei erhaltenen Daten dienen zur Qualitätssicherung und zur Überprüfung der vertraglich festgelegten Schichtdicken. Weiters enthält die ÖNORM Hinweise für die jeweils geeigneten Meßmethoden. Als Anhang ist ein Muster eines Meßberichtes enthalten.
